Mathematical Aspects of Quantums Mechanics - Winter school
This winter school in Toulouse from January 15, 2024 to January 19, 2024 will be the launch event of the thematic semester Mathematical Aspects of Quantum Mechanics.
This will comprise of three courses :
- Quasiprobabilities at the service of the quantum by Stephan De Bièvre (Université de Lille 1)
- Ruminations on information theory and statistical mechanics by Vojkan Jaksic (McGill University)
- Introduction to spectral theory by Stéphane Nonnenmacher (Université Paris Saclay)
This course is aimed primarily at M2 and PhD students, but may also be of interest to post-docs and researchers wishing to train or add to their knowledge of mathematical physics. One of the aims is to introduce the fundamental notions needed to follow the other events of the semester.
